2. How to Crochet a Dishcloth with Berry Stitch
This crocheted dishcloth pattern is slightly more complicated but still simple and makes a more textured washcloth. This crochet stitch creates a raised square texture in the finished project. You work a single crochet stitch in between each stitch and row to create an alternating pattern.
You can adjust the size by using any even number of chains as the foundation chain.
Berry crochetstitch- place your hook into the space, yo, pull through, yo, and pull through 1 loop on the hook. Then, yo, place your hook into the same space again, yo, pull through, yo, and pull through all 4 loops on the hook.

- Row 3: Continue rows 1 and 2 until you have 26 rows. Or until your cloth is the length you desire.
- Tie off the yarn and cut. Weave in the ends using a tapestry needle.

This looks good done in another color. (As long as you aren’t planning to bleach your cloth!)
- Pull up a stitch from the top of the work and single crochet around in each stitch.
- Make three single crochets in each corner.
